GENERAL INFORMATION
Building and Safety’s mission is to provide responsive, knowledgeable, and helpful building services by administering and enforcing state and local construction regulations in order to protect the safety of all occupants in or near buildings while they work, recreate, and live in our community. The Department objective is to provide permit, plan review, and inspection services in a professional, flexible, and equitable manner.
Location & Hours
Department of Building and Safety is on the 3rd Floor of City Hall, which is located at the corner of Main Street and Yorktown in Huntington Beach. (Between Beach Blvd and Goldenwest St.)
Hours of Operation are: M-F 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Closed 12:00 Noon to 1:00 PM)
