Fair Housing Council of Orange County - The City of Huntington Beach is committed to enforcing fair housing laws, but in particular to protect the rights of persons who believe that they have been the victims of discrimination in housing on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, handicap, familial status (generally, the presence of children in the household), or national origin. The Fair Housing Council of Orange County works on behalf of the City for this purpose. In addition to enforcing fair housing laws, the Fair Housing Council strives to improve housing conditions in Huntington Beach through landlord/tenant rights and responsibilities counseling, HUD certified housing counseling, and a mediation services for housing-related disputes.

U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development - The federal Department of Housing and Urban Development administers a number of programs that supports its mission of ensuring a decent, safe, and sanitary home and suitable living environment for every American. California Department of Housing & Community Development - The California Department of Housing and Community Development develops policies and administers programs to expand safe and affordable housing opportunities for all Californians. The department administers housing finance, economic development, and rehabilitation programs emphasizing meeting the needs of low-income and other disadvantaged groups; it analyzes and implements building codes; and enforces construction standards for manufactured homes.

Office of the Mobilehome Ombudsman - The Office of the Mobilehome Ombudsman is a complaint processing office that primarily assists the public with questions or problems associated with the various aspects of manufactured home (mobilehome) living. This includes complaints with manufactured home dealers, sales, and warranties. This Office also processes complaints associated with other programs under the purview of California Department of Housing and Community Development's Division of Codes and Standards (Registration & Titling, Employee Housing, Manufactured Housing, and State Housing Law).
